Entry Electrical Technician

Description

  • Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment or finished product electronic components, parts, switch panels, electronic equipment and systems.
  • May test new equipment, troubleshoot operation and make minor adjustments to equipment.
  • Performs high voltage electrical repairs (e.g., controls, relays).
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic, mechanical, or electrical computer controlled equipment.
  • May input or perform PLC and/or CNC programming.
  • Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Performs basic preventative maintenance on electrical wiring and components for production equipment and facilities infrastructure.
  • Assembles wiring for electrical subassemblies


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
